I say Fair for recommendation because UK Family Medicine is not easy to use. I may have an assigned doctor but cannot see her when I become ill because she is to booked up. I really only see her once a year. If anything comes up in the meantime she is not available. I'm forced to use urgent care. This is not frequent now but as I age it will be problematic. I'm already 71. I like Dr. Voogt but don't really feel like I have a family doctor because I can't get to her if need be.

I am very sensitive to side effects with medications. I know which medicines have the fewest side effects for me and that was ignored in this visit.

Primary purpose of my visit was to establish a primary care physician, since my Dr. Mary Meek retired from Ky Clinic So. Since I also retired, I was informed I could no longer be seen there. I didn't feel as tho Dr. Voogt gave me an opportunity to build rapport, but rather looked to her Resident (Amanda) to administer answers and proposed care. Residents leave. I'm not happy with the way this went. I will be contacting UHC/Medicare to meet yet another potential primary care physician going forward.

The doctor listened to the APRN about what I had told her, the doctor could have done what she did with me over the phone or in the parking lot.

He told me about Meloxicam and it being hard on your stomach so we are trying a gel to rub on in place of the meloxicam.

Most of the time was spent with a medical student. The doctor didn't even look down my throat.
