I was very confident in the care and decision making of Dr. Fiorillo displayed. She listened to me, gave appropriate explanations, and did not talk down to me. As an intelligent, educated woman, it really bothers me when providers talk down to me. Dr. Fiorillo communicated with me in a way that made me feel like an intellectual peer, and a partner in my child's care. She balanced this by answering my questions and clarifying as requested. I also want to say that she was exceptionally kind and patient with my son. My child is highly intelligent, and also has high functioning ASD and ADHD. He was anxious and overly stimulated during the exam, and she made it as easy as possible. We feel confident with her as our child's surgeon.
