He also completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago. He is a former American Society of Clinical Oncology track leader for CNS tumors. Currently, he is on the board of the Central Brain Tumor Registry US. He is also a member of the Neuro-Oncology Committee in the cooperative group ALLIANCE and a Society of Neuro-Oncology committee member.
