Our community – patients, patient families, and those who support our mission to create a healthier Kentucky – are valued partners in our work. We invite you to unite with us in this worthy cause with a gift that can be customized to your personal giving preferences.
Many avenues exist to support UK HealthCare, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, or the UK College of Medicine as we pursue our passion for saving lives and improving the health of our fellow Kentuckians.
Cash: A new gift towards the initiative of your choice has immediate impact –every dollar you donate today* will be put to work finding a cure, helping patients, or providing scholarship support for College of Medicine students at the University of Kentucky.
Memorial gifts: In lieu of flowers, many families request that charitable gifts be made in memory of their loved one. You can celebrate that person’s life while supporting medical research and patient care at UK HealthCare.

Honor Your Caregiver: The Expressions of Gratitude Program gives grateful patients and their loved ones a way to recognize a UK HealthCare caregiver or unit.
Endowments: By contributing through an endowment, your donation earns interest each year. The endowment offers sustainable funding that provides income for years to come.
Dual-use contributions: These gifts provide support today while also building an endowment for future generations.
Planned giving: including a gift to the UK College of Medicine in your will or living trust helps ensure that future patients, families and/or College of Medicine students have the resources they need to thrive, according to your wishes.
You can also achieve your objective in other ways, including gifts like real estate or stock, charitable gift annuities or donor-advised funds.

Payroll deduction
UK HealthCare and UK employees can provide support through payroll deduction. To enroll, follow the online payroll deduction instructions provided below. Employees can designate where their gift goes and choose to benefit multiple funds, departments, or programs.
