Personal Statement

Educated patients make the best decisions for their care, and my goal is always to educate in order to empower. Many disorders involve choosing between multiple treatment options, and I want patients to understand as best as possible the advantages and disadvantages of each. I understand it can be confusing and uncomfortable to face a complex health problem, and daunting to place trust in someone else—especially when the condition threatens hearing, facial movements, and other functions which are critical to communication and help us connect with others. I aim to use my clinical knowledge and expertise to help patients through these challenging conditions.

Dr. Cass did a great job in his ability to close the hole in my eardrum. Other physicians said they wouldn't even try to do it but he did and it worked! My hearing is a little better. Not perfect but better. Thank you!

Dr. Cass was great! Just wished the monitors on the wall was working so I could see what he was looking at. He did apologize as there was only minimal picture but could not really tell anything about it. I'm just one that likes to see what is going on.

Dr. Cass is obviously a smart and knowledgeable doctor, but he also has a great bedside manner. He's sweet and explained everything that was happening until I understood. He walked me through my ctscan and ear pictures so I could see everything that was going on.

My only complaint would be the wait time between when the first doctor on Dr. Cass's team came in and when Dr. Cass came in. I waited a while and no one came in to update me. I would have been nice if someone would have poked their head in the door just to check to make sure I was okay.
