      The resident physician who assisted Dr. Stevens during our visit was great. He was kind and compassionate and a calming sense for myself and my son. He immediately sensed my son's fear and hesitation and worked to create a bond with him to ease his discomfort. He would attempt different parts of the exam and whenever my son was showing signs of frustration, he would redirect and come back to it when my son was more calm. Dr. Stevens came in after her resident and was so nice. We loved both the resident and Dr. Steven's, that made our first ophthalmology experience such a positive one.
