About

Driss Raissi completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by a DIRECT Pathway residency in Interventional Radiology at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Radiology. He is an Associate Professor of Radiology, Medicine, Surgery and OBGYN. He serves as the Division Chief or Vascular and Interventional Radiology and the Enterprise Medical Director of the Interventional Services pavilion at Chandler Hospital.

Dr. Raissi is especially interested in vascular trauma, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), advanced embolization techniques and women's health, the latter of which prompted him to found the Uterine Fibroid Program as a joint venture with the OB-GYN department, providing minimally invasive procedure options for women who suffer from fibroids. He has published several papers and presented at various national and international conferences.

He has been a visiting professor and guest lecturer at several academic institutions and is an American Board of Radiology Oral Boards Examiner.
