Becca Alcorn, MA, CCC-SLP, graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University in 2022. She joined the UK Voice and Swallow Clinic in 2022, completing her clinical fellowship while training with colleagues at the Markey Cancer Center. With a strong focus on improving patients' quality of life, Becca possesses specialized training in various aspects of head and neck cancer-related speech and swallowing difficulties. Her proficiency extends to areas such as tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP) management, electrolarynx training, McNeill Dysphagia Treatment Protocol (MDTP), MBSImP (Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile), and other techniques/training which aid patients in regaining effective communication and swallowing abilities.

Since 2022, Becca has assisted with the research endeavors of colleague Dr. Debra Suiter. Her contributions have revolved around the topic of dysphagia, including assisting with comprehensive literature reviews and collaboration with esteemed colleagues in organizing a yearly conference.
