About

Lisa earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Kentucky in 1997. She also earned a prior master’s degree at University of Kentucky in Veterinary Science, specializing in Equine Biomechanics in 1992. Lisa’s clinical experience has been in the area of orthopedics, particularly the spine, and manual therapy (Mulligan, McKenzie, and Institute of Physical Art Functional Manual Therapy). Lisa holds certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method) hippotherapy, incorporating equine movement in treatment, and dry needling (Integrative Dry Needling). Her clinical interests include management of sports-related concussions and back and neck pain. Due to her extensive equestrian background, Lisa enjoys serving patients with any injuries from the equine environment. Lisa has presented at state, national and international conferences. She has also served as faculty for the American Hippotherapy Association, Inc. and adjunct faculty for Bellarmine and the University of Kentucky.
