Julie is a Lexington, KY native with a sports and musical background and attended Tates Creek High School. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky in 2014. Julie continued her education at the University of Kentucky and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. She is certified in integrative dry needling and has attended courses on the Mulligan Concept and at the McKenzie Institute for evidence-based assessment and management for patients with spinal and extremity musculoskeletal disorders. Her clinical interests include orthopedic conditions, manual therapy, post-operative care, and helping patients return to their active lifestyles. She enjoys treating all patients with musculoskeletal conditions. In her spare time, Julie enjoys the outdoors, traveling, watching UK sports, playing with her Golden Retriever, Luna, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
