UK Twilight Children's Clinic
Kentucky Children’s Hospital understands that children do not always get sick or hurt during a doctor’s regular office hours. While you could go to an emergency room for after-hours care, that’s not always the best and most affordable solution. If your child experiences acute (severe and sudden) symptoms of an illness or injury and needs after-hours treatment, the rotating team of Kentucky Children’s Hospital pediatricians who staff the Twilight Children’s Clinic is here to provide the care your child needs.
While your child’s primary care provider should always be your first call during office hours, the providers at the Twilight Children’s Clinic are here to supplement that care by providing quick and efficient medical care during evening and weekend hours.
Conditions we treat
The Twilight Children’s Clinic is a great option to treat nonemergency illnesses and injuries that are not life threatening. Examples of conditions and symptoms we can treat include:
- Allergies and asthma
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Cuts or burns
- Earaches and ear infections
- Minor broken bones
- Sore throat and strep throat
- Sports injuries
- Sprains and strains
Twilight Children’s Clinic is located at UK HealthCare – Turfland, which offers even more convenience for families. When your child is sick or hurt, convenience is key. Free onsite parking makes our facility easily accessible, and onsite services such as lab, MRI, pharmacy and X-ray mean your child can typically access all the care needed without having to leave the building.
The Turfland location also puts the Twilight Children’s Clinic in the same building as the UK HealthCare Urgent Care Clinic. If Twilight Clinic appointments are full, your child can walk in to the Urgent Care Clinic, where a pediatrician is always available for consultation.
