  • Pregnancy/Maternity Care Services

UK HealthCare Family & Community Medicine - Family and General Medicine CareUK Family and Community Medicine offers a unique, family-centered approach to maternity care, obstetrics and family medicine. Our family practice cares for the entire family before, during, and after the new addition. We provide specialized, family-centered care throughout pregnancy and attend the birth of your baby. After your pregnancy, we care for you and your newborn. Once you go home, we can see you and your child in our office for follow-up and well child visits.

In our clinic, we practice “continuity care,” which means that you will see the same provider throughout your pregnancy, and this provider will also be the one to attend your birth and care for your newborn. Generally, this provider will be a physician resident overseen by a family medicine attending experienced in obstetric care.

If you are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant and would like to establish care at our clinic, please call for an appointment. If you are newly pregnant, your first visit will most likely be with a nurse who will gather information and set you up with one of our physicians.

All of our deliveries take place in the UK Birthing Center.
