Belinda is kind but the BMI chart is highly flawed and to recommend me to be at 140-150 pounds is poor practice. Dr. Ain shows zero emotion and all he wants to do is show that he is smart. He's good at his job but that's about it. His bedside manner is terrible, thankfully on this visit he didn't make me cry.

Did not go to Dr regarding future Covid boosters and even after I explained I had had blood clot after first two vaccines and booster and was reluctant to get another this was all he focused on versus the thyroid issue follow up I came for

We still disagree about what is causing the issue with my test results. They are unwilling to consider any cause but the one they believe is true. I don't appreciate being made to feel like I don't know what I am doing and that I am not taking my meds correctly when I know that I am. Why do I have to use their system when I have been using the same system successfully for 25 years? Just because I am getting older doesn't mean that my system for taking my meds does not work. All of my other tests were good which should show that I am taking my meds as directed for all my other meds so why wouldn't I be taking theirs correctly? I did agree to use a pill box for my synthroid and be retested in two months. Turns out it was probably the biotin that I was taking which was skewing the test results. I guess time will tell as I stopped taking it one week ago and my tsh was down considerably from the last test. It should be back where it needs to be after being without it for two months pill box or not.

Dr. Ain has always explained in great detail my current status regarding my thyroid cancer , as well as watching over my general health & making recommendations for continued good health practices. On this particular visit , Dr. Ain picked up an Atrial flutter I was having , sent me immediately to get an EKG , spoke with the department chair of Cardiology & arranged for me to be taken to the ED for further work up. Thanks to Dr. Ain calling ahead , I was taken back immediately & seen by the ED physician & cardiologist. I have been a patient of Dr. Ain's for 25 years now & he has been Health Care Hero multiple times catching health issues related & unrelated to my thyroid cancer. I have recommended him to many people over the years & will continue to do so !!

Dr Ain knows what he is doing and is I presume good at what he does. However, he knows it. His personality his hard to take. He's full of himself and it makes it hard to carry a conversation with him. I don't doubt his medical expertise is great, but in my opinion, bedside manner and comfort with your provider is important too. Dr Ain makes it hard to feel comfortable around him in my experience.
