Personal Statement

My goal, as chairman of the department, is to build a really top-notch academic program for the institution and for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I'm inspired by the growth. Our faculty has more than quadrupled, our patient volumes are way up and we provide high-quality complex care for the entire region. I'm inspired to continue that growth and to expand our reach to help people who need eye care. We have specialists in every subspecialty field in ophthalmology so patients can expect the best care for whatever their problem is.

Dr Pearson has monitored my retina and all the issues closely. He actual saved my vision in the right eye. Another doctor at a different association wanted to do surgery on my retina because the images showed a wrinkle retina. However I could see fine. Dr Pearson advised me monitor. I switch to him as my doctor. I can see 20/20 and no surgery needed
