Personal Statment

My goal, as chairman of the department, is to build a really top-notch academic program for the institution and for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I'm inspired by the growth. Our faculty has more than quadrupled, our patient volumes are way up and we provide high-quality complex care for the entire region. I'm inspired to continue that growth and to expand our reach to help people who need eye care. We have specialists in every subspecialty field in ophthalmology so patients can expect the best care for whatever their problem is.

Dr Pearson has monitored my retina and all the issues closely. He actual saved my vision in the right eye. Another doctor at a different association wanted to do surgery on my retina because the images showed a wrinkle retina. However I could see fine. Dr Pearson advised me monitor. I switch to him as my doctor. I can see 20/20 and no surgery needed

I saw an interviewing person and I believe ultimately 3 other examiners and then th e actual physician. I am answering these block of questions solely on my reactions to the physician, Dr. Pearson. The others (I assume student physicians at some level of their learning process) did not offer solid or necessarily even agreeing ideas, that did not ultimately concern me). I was ultimately ONLY interested in the findings, opinions, and plans of the physician, Dr. Pearson, with whom I was very satisfied.
