Susan Griffith is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Kentucky and a graduate of the UK College of Medicine, where she completed her residency in family practice and was chief resident. She is board certified in family practice.

Prior to working at University Health Service, Dr. Griffith was clinic director at UK's Family Medical Center. She joined University Health Service in 1992 and serves as chairman of the UHS QA/QI Committee. Her special clinical interest is dermatology.

    Provider asked if I preferred to test right in the clinic or take an at-home test, and when I said I'd prefer an at-home test, disregarded my preference and had me test at the clinic.

    Said she doubts I have a cold since that's more of a winter thing. I felt very dismissed and not heard. I was around a co worker that had strep throat and I was around my grandparents who genuinely had a cold when I was back home so the bug got passed down to me, so to hear I'm not actually sick when I know for a fact this isn't normal for my body is hurtful.

      Dr. Griffith was extremely personable and made me feel at ease right away. She asked me just the right questions and listened to what had happened during my accident. We discussed a couple of options for different areas effected on my body, recommended different ways of helping me to heal. She asked questions that I had not thought of prior to my visit. She didn't try to hurry me through and was very thorough.
