"I received my transplant late February 24th. I even gave you all a scare when my lungs hemmoraged, but you went on and I kept fighting. Now I am new person, thanks to all of you. It is such a wonderful feeling to be healthy again! My children couldn't even remember their mommy not being sick and/or tired. They are amazed by me now, and it is so wonderful to be able to enjoy them completely now. My entire family is so thankful for everything all of you have done to give me a new life. Happy endings really can come true! Thank you so much again!

The University of Kentucky Transplant Center has been providing transplantation services since 1964. Its surgeons perform more than 135 transplants each year.
