Stroke L-listserv Service
Call 911 immediately if you or someone around you may be having a stroke.
The Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Stroke Program sponsors a Listserv group, Stroke-L, to share information, opinions, ideas and inquiries related to stroke. Interested subscribers are welcome to discuss any stroke-related topic.
The discussion is not technical and scientific. Rather, the list serves as a source of support and information exchange for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
To subscribe to Stroke-L, send an e-mail to listserv@lsv.uky.edu. It is not necessary to have anything in the message’s subject line. The body of the message should read:
Subscribe Stroke-L [your first name] [your last name]
Stroke-L archives provide a searchable database organized by topic in a web interface. Access is limited to subscribers. Each subscriber is required to create a password.
For more information, send an e-mail to listserv@lsv.uky.edu with the following text in the message body: help
You will receive a message from listserv containing basic Listserv command and instructions.
The general user’s guide to Listserv can be viewed or downloaded at the L-Soft web site. The guide provides a complete list of commands to manage your subscription and tips on discussion list etiquette.
