Outreach
Scott Mair, MD, conducts a UK Sports Medicine satellite clinic in Morehead, KY at the Cave Run Surgical Specialists Clinic, located at 425 Clinic Drive. (see a map to the clinic)

With the region's largest certified athletic training staff, we provide outreach athletic training services to numerous schools. Our certified athletic trainers are specially trained in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all types of sports-related or physically active injuries and illnesses. Prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs are developed based on medical, exercise, and sports sciences. Our current list of contracted schools includes:

- Berea Independent
- Fayette County Public High Schools - Bryan Station, Henry Clay, Lafayette, Dunbar, Tates Creek
- Harrison County
- Jackson County
- Kentucky State University
- Lincoln County
- Nicholas County
- Owen County
- Pendleton County
- Powell County
- Sayre
- Rockcastle County
Our certified athletic trainers also provide athletic training services to numerous team clubs, tournaments, special sporting events and Kentucky High School Athletics Association (KHSAA). State events include:
- Bluegrass Soccer
- Commonwealth Soccer
- Lexington Youth Soccer Association
- LIT and BIT Soccer Tournaments,
- State Cup Soccer Tournament
- Kentucky Basketball Academy
- Bluegrass State Games
- Lexington Parks & Recreation
- Kentucky Football All-Stars
- KHSAA State Events - Cross Country, Volleyball, Soccer, Wrestling, Boys Basketball Sweet 16 and Baseball.
Our certified athletic trainers are also involved in educational events including lectures, community seminars or health fairs and host the KHSAA Coaches Medical Symposium held each year in March.
