Pediatric Cardiology

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services for children with suspected or diagnosed congenital heart disease. Initial work-up includes the evaluation of heart murmurs, chest pain, syncope, and other symptoms that may be attributed to the cardiovascular system. Diagnosis and treatment for congenital malformations of the heart, defects acquired from rheumatic fever or infection, cardiac arrhythmias, and acquired myocardial disease are emphasized. Our physicians work closely with the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery to provide both pre- and post-operative care of children. In order to meet the needs of the referring community, we have established pediatric cardiology outreach clinics throughout the region. Clinic locations are listed below
