Safe Kids Programs

Our programs focus on the major risk areas for children up to age 14. These programs involve media events, device distribution and hands-on educational activities for kids and their families, and aim to get communities across our county more involved in the safety of their children.

Child Passenger Safety Technician Course
Safe Kids Fayette County periodically offers a National Standardized Child Passenger Safety certification course. This child passenger safety (CPS) training course is designed to teach individuals the technical and instructional skills needed to serve as a child passenger safety resource to parents and caregivers.
Those who successfully complete this course may apply to receive national certification as a Child Passenger Safety Technician. Contact the Safe Kids office at 859-323-1153 for additional information.
