New Hospital Garage & Shuttle on S. Limestone

New free "no-step" shuttle with service to UK Chandler Hospital, UK emergency department and Kentucky Clinic.

Parking at UK HealthCare has improved
The new Hospital Garage & Shuttle is located between Conn Terrace and Transcript Avenue, directly across South Limestone from UK medical facilities.
For your safety, please DO NOT cross South Limestone on foot.

Replaced previous hospital garage

• The previous hospital garage closed in November 2007 and was disassembled to make way for construction of the new UK Chandler Hospital.
• Parking at the Kentucky Clinic does not change, but the new garage is another parking option for those visiting the clinic or nearby areas of campus.
• Parking rates do not change. See parking information for all UK HealthCare facilities.

Shuttles offer free door-to-door service

• Wheelchair-friendly (no steps) shuttle buses transport parkers safely to and from the hospital’s front loop and Emergency entrances, 24 hours a day, every day.
• A second shuttle route serves the Kentucky Clinic 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Friday.
• Shuttle buses for each route arrive every three to five minutes.
• Patients or visitors may continue to be dropped off at the hospital’s front loop or Emergency entrances, or at the Kentucky Clinic entrance on South Limestone, prior to the driver parking.
  

Ambassador assistance

• An ambassador is available at the shuttle loading area 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. to answer questions and help patients and visitors access the shuttles. An ambassador also provides assistance at the hospital’s main entrance.
  

Bigger garage with more parking

• The garage opened with better parking capacity for patients and visitors than the previous garage. When fully open this spring, it will offer more than double the parking capacity, including 126 spaces designated for handicapped parking.
