Visible changes are happening at UK HealthCare facilities

Whether they are visiting UK HealthCare or just passing through the area, Kentuckians are seeing several new signs of progress:

• Parking changes: The hospital’s former parking garage has been taken down to make way for the new UK Chandler Hospital. Several floors in the hospital's new garage opened in November and all 1,600 parking spots will be available this Spring.
• New hospital infrastructure: A new fence lines the perimeter of the hospital under construction where crews are working,
• Utility work: A main power feed that primarily runs through the building site is being relocated to Cooper Drive and Woodland Avenue. Sixty-five percent of the lines being relocated as part of this project will be underground.
