The remaining levels will open in March 2008, at which time about 1,400 spaces will be available for patient and visitor parking.

Getting to the Gill Heart Institute and Center for Advanced Surgery
Patients with appointments at the Gill Heart Institute and the Center for Advanced Surgery access the Gill building by arriving at the main entrance of UK Chandler Hospital, on Hospital Drive. Those who drop off or pick up patients or family members at the main entrance of UK Chandler Hospital should park in the hospital garage. Click to view map
Directions to the Hospital Garage from the main hospital entrance:
- From the main entrance of the hospital, turn left at the first opportunity under the pedway.
- Turn left again so you loop around to take Hospital Drive back toward Limestone. At the three-way stop, continue across the intersection on Hospital Drive, bearing left as you pass the ED until you reach the entrance to the parking garage on your left.

Construction Continues on Emergency Department Entrance
We are building a new entrance to the ED that will allow the first phase of the new hospital construction to begin. The construction will not impact traffic accessing the ED from Limestone. The new ED entrance will offer additional amenities to our patients and visitors such as an information desk and triage area. The new entrance will extend from the current ED to the Gill building. |
