The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in partnership with Hospice of the Bluegrass has developed a bereavement support group called Legacies. This is a group for adults who have experienced a significant death in their lives from a long term illness.
Legacies will cover a variety of topics on grief including the grieving process, handling the holidays, and caring for ourselves.
Legacies will begin Tuesday evenings September 20 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and will as for six weeks. To register call 277-2700, extension 419. If you know of an individual who may benefit from attending Legacies please make them aware of the group. There is no cost for this group, but registration is required. Sessions will be held at the Grief and Loss Center, located behind the Hospice of the Bluegrass. Hospice of the Bluegrass is located at 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Ky.
