Children with blood disorders and cancers are treated with the most advanced medicine by our team of specialists in hematology and oncology. We take a team approach to your child's care including board-certified pediatric hematologist-oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and certified pediatric oncology nurses. Hemophilia Clinic
UK Hemophilia Treatment Center was created to treat children in central and eastern Kentucky with bleeding disorders. Our full-time nurse practitioner and nurse manager offers compassionate care and treatment.

Hematology-Oncology Clinic
Our brand new, state-of-the-art pediatric hematology-oncology clinic opened in summer 2004 with a new chemotherapy infusion area that includes a wide-screen TV and video games so kids can relax during their treatment. An on-site pharmacy, and new leading-edge laboratory allows automated blood counts so we can adjust your child's treatment immediately. A new sedation facility allows us to sedate children in our clinic for more involved procedures like bone marrow aspirations and lumbar punctures.
