Using capsule endoscopy, a pill-sized
video capsule with a lens and light
source, UK doctors can examine the
lining of the middle part of the
gastrointestinal tract.
The Endoscopy Center is a 7,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility which provides an advanced environment for endoscopy and training. Nearly 6,000 endoscopic procedures are performed annually at both UK Chandler Hospital and the VA Hospital.
