What is sinusitis?

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinus cavities

Acute sinusitis, symptoms less than six weeks, is usually secondary to infection
Chronic sinusitis, is defined as symptoms longer than 6 weeks, and is often caused by chronic untreated allergies

Symptoms include:

Nasal congestion
Pressure/pain in the face, occasionally referred to teeth or jaw
Ear pressure and popping
Headaches
Post-nasal drip
Throat cough/clearing
