LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 3, 2007) -- UK HealthCare closed on the transaction that has made us part of their growing community of care in the Bluegrass. It started in 1888, our commitment to caring for the health of Central Kentucky. This long tradition of quality service is now strengthened and enhanced as we become part of the UK HealthCare community of caring. With this change comes a name change for us... We are, again, Good Samaritan Hospital. A name long synonymous with high touch, high tech medicine and a tradition of exceptional personal care. The blending of these two strong traditions will make the "Good" truly Great. Our new official name is UK HealthCare Good Samaritan Hospital. Look for a new logo in the coming days and a new revamped web presence as well.
