    Transplant outcomes

The Transplant Center is focused on quality care for our patients. To review our transplant outcomes, volumes or other specific information go to the Scientific Registry of Transplant Patients.

Quality reports called “CUSUM Charts” are released monthly by the SRTR. These graphs provide a “real-time” look at a program’s performance. When reviewing these charts, there are a few things to keep in mind:

    • These reports are not intended to compare our outcomes to other programs across the country. They simply provide a snapshot view of our current data.

    • Each chart contains data from two months prior to the month in which the report was generated. For example, reports released in December 2013 will contain information through October 2013.

    • The Observed – Expected CUSUM chart (below) contains one line that goes up when the program is experiencing a higher than expected rate of graft failures or patient deaths and goes down when a program is experiencing a lower-than-expected rate of graft failures or patient deaths.
