  • What is the pelvic floor?

    The pelvic floor is a group of muscles, ligaments, and tissues that help hold together and control the uterus, vagina, bladder, rectum, and bowels. Pelvic floor conditions can arise due to the stress of child birth, age, heavy lifting or high levels of physical activity, and family history.
