American Society of Clinical Oncology Practice Guidelines
Guidelines can address specific clinical situations (disease-oriented) or use of approved medical products, procedures, or tests (modality-oriented). Using the best available evidence, ASCO's expert panels identify and develop practice recommendations for specific areas of cancer care that would benefit from the availability of practice guidelines.
PDQ (Physician's Desk Query)
National Cancer Institute's comprehensive cancer database. It contains: peer-reviewed summaries on cancer treatment, screening, prevention, genetics, supportive care and complementary and alternative medicine; a registry of more than 4,000 open and 15,000 closed cancer clinical trials from around the world; and directories of physicians, professionals who provide genetics services and organizations that provide cancer care.
PubMed: Cancer Subset Limits hotlink (below search screen) can be selected and Publication Types can be set to Practice Guideline. Key words can then be typed and search results will be MEDLINE journal citations identified as Practice Guidelines.

American College of Surgeons - Commission on Cancer

National Cancer Data Base (NCDB)
NCDB is a nationwide, facility-based, oncology data set that captures 75% of all newly diagnosed cancer cases in the United States annually. Data collected include patient characteristics, tumor staging and histology characteristics, type of first course treatment administered, disease recurrence, and survival information. The site is the result of a partnership between American College of Surgeons and National Cancer Society.
