Credit Unions for Kids is a collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues and business partners engaged in fund raising activities to benefit 170 affiliated children's hospitals serving 17 million kids, while gaining numerous benefits for credit unions.
Since 1984 Dairy Queen operators and employees have raised over $55 million for 170 affiliated children's hospitals. On August 10, 2006, Dairy Queen stores in central and eastern Kentucky donated proceeds from the sale of Blizzard treats to Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
For 14 years, Food Lion, a 1,200-store grocery chain based in Salisbury, NC, has been one of Children’s Miracle Network’s most dedicated retail sponsors. Their commitment has taken root in all levels of the company. That can be attributed to Food Lion’s ability to see the big picture of their Children’s Miracle Network activities.
The financial services organization, Foresters, joined Children's Miracle Network in 1990 and has raised more than $13 million since then. The company primarily underwrites the cost of the Radiothon.
Voted the #1 family buffet nine years running, Golden Corral joined Children's Miracle Network in 2005. Restaurants in Nicholasville, Lexington, Georgetown, Winchester and London, KY host a number of events in addition to the annual Miracle Balloon campaign which raises funds and awareness for their children's hospital partners.
Since 1983, Goody's has faithfully and steadily supported Children's Miracle Network. Goody’s stores in Hazard, Morehead, Campbellsville, Danville, Somerset, London, Corbin, Bowling Green, Lexington, Shelbyville, Winchester, Glasgow, Richmond, Frankfort, Mt. Sterling and Nicholasville helped raise more than $38,000 for Kentucky Children’s Hospital.

Phi Mu, Sigma Chi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon national fraternal organizations support Kentucky Children’s Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. They host numerous fundraising events throughout the year to benefit the hospital.
Kiwanis is a service-based organization with more than 8,500 clubs and 300,000 members worldwide. Kiwanis joined Children's Miracle Network in 1982 and Key Club International (the high school Kiwanis program) joined in 1996. Members of Kiwanis in central and eastern Kentucky are valuable volunteers to Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
For 125 years, The Kroger Company has been an active part of the communities in which it operates. Kroger is a Children’s Miracle Network partner. The Kroger stores in central Kentucky participate in Kentucky Children’s Hospital’s annual holiday card program.
Log A Load For Kids is a national giving program which brings the dedication and generosity of the nation's loggers and other forest products providers to raising funds for local children's hospitals associated with the Children's Miracle Network. Through Log A Load For Kids, members of the wood industry have joined Kentucky Children’s Hospital in caring for children by creating two research endowments. The group also had interactive trees created for the Treehouse Playroom and the Adolescent Lounge in the hospital as well as three wood murals in hospital corridors.
Since 1982, Marriott has raised more than $33 million for Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Funds are raised for Kentucky Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network Golf Tournament and the sale of Miracle Balloon sales.
Throughout the United States, convenience store chains are helping thousands of hospitalized kids through CMN. These chains have teamed up with CMN through McLane Company, Inc., a wholesale distributor that serves convenience stores nationwide. This year McLane and the convenience store industry raised more than $4 million for CMN-affiliated hospitals.
Papa John's, the world's third largest pizza company, joined Children's Miracle Network in 2006. The company is planning its first "Anniversary Special" pizza sales campaign and a Miracle Balloon campaign this summer and fall.
RE/MAX International joined Children's Miracle Network in 1992 and has raised more than $55 million for children's hospitals across the country. RE/MAX Creative Realty formed the Makenna Foundation with Greg and Sheila David and now host an annual Derby fundraising event and the “Art of Making Miracles,” an enormously popular event in September. Rite Aid Corporation, with more than 3,500 stores in 30 states and the District of Columbia, has raised funds for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals with an annual balloon campaign since 1994. In addition to selling the $1 paper balloons, individual stores in central and eastern Kentucky create their own unique ideas to raise funds including bake sales, carnivals, sports memorabilia auctions, bar-b-ques, golf tournaments and car washes.
The American Legion joined Children's Miracle Network in 1998 and has raised over $15 million since then. This patriotic, community service, war-time veterans' organization is well known for community service. The Legion raises funds at the local level, primarily through flag icon sales, and encourages the community to get involved.
Wal-Mart Stores has been a corporate sponsor of CMN since 1987 and has raised a phenomenal $321 million in the last 19 years. The Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs in central and eastern Kentucky conduct a Miracle Balloon campaign every year during the month of May and invite all customers to purchase a paper balloon every time they go through checkout during the month. Through their dedication and commitment to the care of Kentucky children, associates at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores have made an enduring contribution to Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
A sponsor since 1992, Speedway SuperAmerica has raised more than $20 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Speedway raises funds through Miracle Balloon campaigns at its 1,300 locations, grassroots fund raising and its annual corporate golf tournament. In 2006, Speedway SuperAmerica raised nearly $100,000 for Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
