Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day Scheduled August 9, 2007
When is a mass of summer blizzard activity a good forecast? On Thursday, August 9, because it’s not about the weather; it’s about helping kids in need. That’s the day Dairy Queen® will host the second annual North American "Miracle Treat Day" to benefit Children’s Miracle Network.
Concours d'Elegance Aug. 23-26 to Benefit Kentucky Children's Hospital
For four summers, the Keeneland Concours d’Elegance has brought elegant cars to travel the scenic corridors of the bluegrass. This year’s event will be held Aug. 23-26 on the grounds of Keeneland Race Course, and will feature Jaguar as the guest marque. These fine automobiles will attract attention across the region and bring much-needed support for Kentucky Children’s Hospital with them.
World Children's Day Celebrated at Kentucky Children's Hospital
Ronald McDonald, former University of Kentucky and Pittsburgh Steelers football player Dermonti Dawson and former UK basketball player Kyle Macy passed out toys and gift certificates from McDonald's to the children at Kentucky Children's Hospital. Read more >>
